Commerce and Accountancy

The Department of Commerce & Accountancy is one of the prime departments in our college. Since its inception, this department is playing a crucial role for the development of student community. Programmes and courses offered by the department are B.Com in Advanced Accounting & Auditing, M.Com.in Accountancy and Research center in Commerce. To enhance the employability of the students, the department also runs career oriented programmes (Tally Package course, Retail Management course) and enrichment courses (Logistics & supply chain management and Import Export documentation). The Department has Commerce Association which organizes variety of activities and events for the personality Development of the students such as lectures by eminent speakers, field visits etc. It also organizes workshops, Seminars & Exhibitions. The students are encouraged to participate in intra collegiate activities as well as inter collegiate competitions organized by various associations. Placements opportunities are provided through placement cell. The Department has established Commerce Laboratory to provide practical exposure and technical practices followed by the organizations in conducting commercial practices to students. The Department has also separate computer laboratory equipped with 46 computers and net facility.
